COVID-19 UPDATES
A Message for Our
Patients and Families

Our administration and care teams are masked, fully vaccinated, and boosted to prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of December 20, 2021, the newest Omicron variant has been detected in most states and is rapidly increasing the proportion of COVID-19 cases.
We follow CDC, Texas Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), and local Texas state and San Antonio city guidelines when it comes to protecting our patients, families, and staff.
Keeping you and your family safe is our top priority and we are fully equipped to continue serving your individual care needs.
COVID-19 Guidance
Below are actions the CDC and our local health departments request us to practice every day to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
The main symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, difficulty breathing, and coughing. Alert your healthcare team if you experience these symptoms.
Wear a mask in public- indoors or crowded places.
Wear a mask with the best fit, protection, and comfort for you; be sure to cover your nose and mouth.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom, before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick or those exposed to the virus.
Avoid touching your, eyes, nose and mouth.
Stay home if you are sick.
Cover your mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, and then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect all frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipes.
Follow the CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask. The CDC does not recommend people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
Remain calm and stay informed.
